Towards Alleviation of Hunger Virus Caused by Covid-19
Chief Iyke Henry Mmerigwo (Onwa ALAIFE 1 OF ULI), Chairman Ifenalaife Foundation spent over four million naira on palliative for his ALAIFE COMMUNITY. The palliative which comprises of food items (400 bags of rice and 400 (2litres) of Groundnut oil were evenly distributed to the ALAIFE Community Uli, Ihiala Local Government to help cushion the effects of the Covid 19 pandemic. The event was graced by the Uli President General, Actor Uwaezuoke, ABS crew and of course IFENALAIFE FOUNDATION team led by Hon. Frank Igbojindu (Chairman, Akpoazaa Group)
Eulogising the foundation, the PG of Uli Community, expressed gratitude for the items donated to the community, noting that it would go a long way in this fight against the hunger virus caused by Covid 19.
He also called on other well meaning indigenes of the community to emulate the IFENALAIFE FOUNDATION. Chief Iyke Henry Mmerigwo, ONWA ALAIFE 1 OF ULI, who is also the Chairman IFENALAIFE FOUNDATION has been helping in the fight against COVID-19 with his foundation.
The Chairman of the Foundation who was ably represented by the Secretary, Hon. Frank Igbojindu (Akpoazaa) said that it is hard to overstate the significance of palliative care in such situations, and in humanitarian settings.
He stated that the essence of the palliative is to assist his people in cushioning the effect of Covid19. Though the sharing of food items to his Community has been a biannually event of which he never intend to stop aside other social responsibility support the Foundation renders to the community.
